This page will give you step-by-step instructions on how to connect to No Reality. If you still cannot seem to connect to the mud, don't give up! Feel free to e-mail the No Reality staff and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  1. Download and install a mud client

In order to play No Reality, you must first have a mud client. To download a client for your computer, go to the mud clients page on our website.

You may also use the nifty java telnet from our website to connect, however, most people prefer to use a real mud client.

  2. Run your mud client

Each operating system executes programs differently. Most, however have some kind of menu system. Locate the icon for the mud client you just installed and click on it.

  3. Configure an entry for No Reality

Most mud clients have some kind of utility to walk you through entering the information for a new mud. Usually this is located in File --> New Session or something similar.

Here are the settings you will want to enter for No Reality:

       Mud Name:No Reality

Some mud clients may have more options for each mud you define; it is up to you to fill these in accordingly. The only information that is really required is the hostname and port.

  4. Play!

There should now be a session for No Reality and some type of "Connect" button. Click on the button to start playing the game!
